If you have access to the loft space above the bathroom, then the best method is to use a junction box, screwed to a joist and for the cables to be clipped to the joist, to prevent . Might be better with a junction box above ceiling level with only the switched live, neutral and earth coming through the ceiling. Junction box still needs to be accessible though ( .
