Here are a couple pics of my firebox. I used 304 grade 3/8ths thick with 3/8ths carbon plate for the shell. The grate is 316 grade 5/8ths round stock welded to 2"x1/4" 316 angle iron. I am hoping not to have to replace this for a while.
